IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING
MAKE-UP SNOW DAYS

At the Board of Education meeting on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, the Board approved OPENING school on Monday, April 5, 2010 as a make-up snow day.  Based on that decision, we will revise the Toms River Regional Schools 2009-2010 school calendar and we will CLOSE schools for Spring Recess during the following dates:  Monday, March 29 through Friday, April 2, 2010.  All Toms River Regional Schools will REOPEN on Monday, April 5, 2010.

 The remaining five (5) days that must be made-up due to snow, will be added at the end of the school year in June.  Tentatively, Wednesday, June 23, 2010 will be the last day of school.

 Obviously, if we need to close schools for any other weather related incidents, we will have to revisit the school calendar and make further adjustments.

 As we have done is the past, the Board will take formal action in April to finalize the last day of school and graduation dates.
