![]() Special Education PTA Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year. Do you need pies for the holiday? SEPTA will host the Thanksgiving Pie Fundraiser through November 17, 2009. Pies will be picked-up on November 24, 2009 at HSN. See all information here:
Meetings and Agendas: Note new date and location: November 19, 2009 - Guest speaker Dr. Nototney from Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center will discuss chemical imbalances associated with the learning disabled child and young adult. NOTE: This meeting will be held in the HS North Media Center. Enter through door #37 on the Bay Ave. side of HSN. The meeting is at 7:00 p.m. December 17, 2009 - Join us for the
first annual “Holiday Gathering” for our children. There will be
food, games and crafts for the kids. Please bring an unwrapped
toy for donation to “Toys for Tots”. T.E.A.M. members will be
available to help with the activities. March 18, 2010 - Peg Kinsell
from S.P.A.N. will discuss “Navigating Health Care Insurance for
the Disabled”. Peg will be discussing how to advocate for your
child through the insurance industry to receive necessary

Project Child Find
PROJECT CHILD FIND is an informational open house for families of children, ages 3 to 5, who
are concerned about their child's development or suspect that their child might have a problem
learning. Special education and related services are available to children from age 3 until age 21
who have been identified as having an educational disability.
